RACE REPORT
Ardee & District hosted their most successful and biggest Annual Seamie Weldon 5k. This year also had a new faster route which benefited runners . The local community have bought into the event with huge support from locals. The event was also part of the Louth Athletics road championships. Club from outside of louth came in large numbers. Meath, Monaghan and Dublin clubs also contributed to the event. Dublins Clonliffe Harriers packed up in numbers to hold the up the top end of the field. They managed to have the top 3 male and the 6th place overall to take the mens team award.
The winner of the race was Colm Rooney of Clonliffe Harriers and the feamle winner was Laura Mcdonnell of Tallaght A.C.
Results also included age cats and team results.
Well done to Ardee & District A.C. making this another highly successful year
