Roscommon Community Challenge 2020 is a 5k and 10k moonlight run, to raise funds towards the Roscommon Community Sports park dressing room fund and Roscommon Special Olympics.
Funds will be used to help finish the new dressing rooms project and our local special Olympics club .
This is an event open to everyone, the toddler, the young child the teenager the granny and grandad, the runner the non runner the keep fit and someone only getting in to it.
What makes this event unique is the twice weekly training sessions delivered by Roscommon Sports Partnership.
1st training session takes place at 7pm on Thursday January 2nd and then continues every Monday and Wednesday evening until the event itself. A miminal fee of 10 euro towards the cost of the 8 weeks training.
