Portmarnock 5 Mile & 5K 2019

RACE REPORT

Another incredible evening for Partmarnock A.C. as they hosted their biggest event to date with just under 900 runners. This event has exploided into a rip roaring success. Participants from all over Dublin and neighboring counties came to support a great event. The word has certainly spread of how well organised this event is along with great fun, mighty atmosphere and lots of treats for runners at the beach finish line. Race HQ was located in Naomh Mernog GAA grounds. Runners were taken on a downhill trip to the beach, where they ran south and tuned back up the beach to the finish.

The event had some fine athletes and clubs along with, joggers and walkers. The event was sold out 3 weeks in advance and surely the event will sell out even faster next year.
