Kilcock 10 from 10

RACE REPORT

A great morning was had for this years Kilcock 10 from 10 road race event hosted by St Coca's AC. This is only the second year of the event and with just over 700 registered it is showing to be a popular annual race.

Logistically the event was perfect with the start and finish line only minutes from race HQ where the famous St Coca's spread and prize giving were held. The weather conditions were blustery at places but the rain stayed away so good racing conditions overall. All these factors made for great morning for runners taking part.

The overall winner of the race and fastest mile was Sean Hehir in a fantastic time of 49:45 and 4:57 for his mile.

The female winner was Niamh Devlin of Dundrum South Dublin AC in a time of 01:01:11. Niamh was also the joint winner of the fastest female mile along with Sinead Lambe of Donore Harriers with a mile time of 6:07
