Irish Runner 5 Mile
RACE REPORT
Another fantastic day for the Irish Runner 5 Mile and family Run. Yet again the summer sunshine graced the event. This event is a long established hosted by Athletics Ireland. This was also part of the New Athletics Ireland Race Series, where runners can avail of real value and assured of a great experience. Runners came to the park from early morning for the 10am start. Many families also attended for the family fun run. This was one of the days highlights to see families coming together to enjoy a great day out. Feidhlim Kelly who was the event MC added to excitement at the start and finish line of both events.

The Race itself was won by Freddy Stukk who is a regular attendee. Well done Freddy.
The ladies winner was well deserved and great supporter of the 5 Mile Annette Kealy of Raheny Shamrock AC.
It was a great day for Raheny Shamrock AC ladies taking 1, 2 and 3 on the podium.
Age category prizes were awarded to for top 3 male and female along with over 35, 45, 55 and 65.
