RACE REPORT

 

  

 

 Over 200 runners attended the first running of the "Gallop for the Guide Dogs 5k" on the Curragh Race Course. The event was very much orientated on a family fun day out and give people chance to run on the Famous Currragh Race Course. The Horse was replaced by children and adults supporting the Irish Guide Dogs. Raising funds to train guide dogs is vital to the charity and a special thank you is noted to those who came out to support today's event. 

 

Each participant received a fabulous T shirt before the race with the green and white colurs of the the charity. These were paraded around the course giving a impressive scene as the runners made their way around the route. 

 

The event was kick started with a pre warm up creating great fun and a party like atmosphere.
