This year the Irish Guide Dogs celebrates its 40th Anniversary as a unique national charity providing life transforming services for free to clients, their families and the wider communities. The cost of training a puppy up to the standard of work required as a Guide or Assistance Dog is €38,000 with 80% of their income coming from fundraising and donations from the public.
They need your help more than ever! The demand for Irish Guide Dogs' services is beyond what they can currently support with waiting lists of up to three years for some of our services.
It isn’t about speed or fitness we encourage everyone to have a go and have fun with their family and friends! Come and join in the event and run a lap of the racecourse to raise money for Irish Guide Dogs. To register to run, click below to buy tickets.
There will also be plenty to keep all the family occupied at the event, whether they are running or not, as the Irish Guide Dogs will host stalls and other activities for spectators.
PS. This is also ideal for pre-Season Cross Country Training.
