As we gear up for Sunday’s event, we wanted to let you know in advance about a delay affecting this year’s race medals.

Our Suppliers, MyRunResults, has informed us that due to a last-minute issue with their supplier, only half of the medals were delivered on time. We are always looking to innovate and give our participants new designs and features on our medals. This year's water effect feature caused a delay in production. 

 

The remaining medals are currently being finished and unfortunately won’t arrive before the weekend.

We know how much these medals mean, and we’re genuinely sorry for the delay — even though this was outside our control, we want to make sure everyone is looked after properly. MyRunResults take full responsibility for the situation and unfortunately it’s something out of our hands, we have liaised with them and below is our plan of action

Here’s what happens next:

• Every finisher will still receive a medal. You must attend the event to receive a medal. 
• Medals will be posted out to all runners, starting Tuesday next week. You will receive a further text when they are dispatched. 

• You don’t need to take any action — your address will be pulled automatically from the timing system with your time. 
• We have added a Photo Booth to the event with a professional photographer to take photos with samples of the medals, to ensure all runners get a finisher photo with a medal. All photos will be emailed the same night with a link.
