An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour is part of the An Post Cycle series which takes place over the summer. The other four counties involved include – Sligo, Clare,Waterford and Cork. 
The aim of the events is to rekindle an awareness in cycling, to increase participation in cycling and to offer opportunities for cyclists to participate.
The events are organised locally by the Sports Partnerships in association with An Post and the Irish Sports Council.
