Race Reports

46km of Running , Hiking, Cycling Heaven.....

Saturday September 9th, 6 am - oh no!! wellies and wet gear required as the rain continued to fall as it had for most of the night, not very encouraging. Finish line being built in the rain then on to the start line - we plough on as we know that almost 800 people are relying on us to get their times....

9am race start and it looks like the whole 800 have turn out to run on this beautiful Waterford 46km Greenway - what a stunning sight, the rain has subsided, the air is warm and a little fresh, bit of a breeze going on all makes up for perfect running conditions.
