Twilight Team Challenge 5K

RACE REPORT

The second running of the Spirit Motor Group Twihlight 5k Team Challenge took place this evening in Sandyford Ind Estate. The estate provided a great looped course in the heart of of the business area. Over 575 Runners from local companies signed up for the Team Challenge. Team Challenge's and corporate events have become very popular within the work place environment, providing Team building, enhancing closer working relationships, promoting a Fitter & Healthier workforce and above all fun.

Much bragging rights will be a common theme in work places after this event. We can imagine there will be much talk

and banter among business's in the local coffee shops in Sandyford Industrial Estate on Friday.

The event itself started at 7.30, just as day light vanished providing runners with a unique night running experience. This all added to the atmosphere which was created by event organisers Dublin South Dublin AC. Well done on providing a highly professional and fun event. Participants were given the best possible experience as a result of the Clubs excellent organisation.

Team prizes were awarded to the Male, Female and Mixed Teams. Each team needed 4 to score based on placings in each category eg. MALE, FEMALE, MIXED. Individual prizes were also awarded to the top Male and Female runners.
