St. Luke's Home 5K

RACE REPORT

St. Lukes Home in Cork hosted their annual 5k in Blackrock Cork. This was beautiful Autumn evening that was more look a summers evening. Over 618 signed up for this years event with funds directly to the Dimentia care. This is a very worthy cause that effects nearly every family in the country.

The support was huge from local clubs families and friends with close connections. The event was permitted through Belgooly A.C. which add to an already high quality event.

Kevin Maunsell of Clonmel A.C. won the race in a great time of 14:31 especially after a long period of injury. The ladies winner was Carol Finn in a time of 18:14.

Age category results were yet again very strongly contested.
