Ratoath Half Marathon & 5K
RACE REPORT
Ratoath A.C hosted and explosive and truly magnificent Half Marathon and 5k in Fairyhouse Co.Meath.
This was the Meath clubs 2nd year holding the event. This success of last year lead to sell out for 2019. The grounds of Fairyhouse and the level of organisation made runners feel very much appreciated. Runners went home with real goof factor feel with the experience to encountered today. This event had it all High quality athletes, great location, fantastic t shirt, medal and a goody bag.
The winner of the 5k was local was Marcus Clarke. The 5k was a great test for young athletes and also the Ratath A.C. couch to 5k programme.
The winner of the Half Marathon wasrace was Ciaran Mckenna of Star of the Sea A.C. and the female winner was Niamh Clifford of Star of the Laune A.C.
Results also included age cats and team results.
Well done to Ratoath A.C. making this another highly successful year
