RACE REPORT

 

  

 

 A fabulous morning in the Phoenix Park for the Marie Keating Pigsback 5k and 10k. The sun was shinning bright with no wind at all. This was ideal for runners taking part. The Route for both Races started and finished on Furze Rd, with the 10k runners running 2 laps. Pink was the colour of the day with balloons, Ribbons, vehicles and runners dressed in Pink. Over 350 runners took part in this  fun event. Funds were raised for the Marie Keating Foundation. The event also highlighted the work that the Marie Keating provide to Cancer Patients and families. 

 

Ribbons placed at the Finish line in memory of those who have passed away or currently living with and winning the battle against Cancer. 

 

 

 Runners were treated to a fun warm up by Energie Fitness and a live Choir (Luke Gospel Choir) sang out loud in memory of passed loves ones. The event captured fun happiness and remembering all in one.
