After the success of last 2 years events, we the Kerry Crusaders are delighted to bring this event to you gain.  Listowel has had its share of fantastic events down through the years; The Fleadh Ceoil, Listowel Races and Writers Week to name a few. Indeed North Kerry is well known as the literary capital of Ireland, but for one weekend this September, after all the horses have been put out to pasture after all the poems written and songs sung, Listowel becomes the Endurance Racing capital of Ireland.    People in the town are still talking about the atmosphere in the park at this event last year

There are options for everyone, 24hours right down to 1hr

* 24 Hour – This race will start at midday on Saturday 21st September and continue to midday on Sunday 22nd September. Winners to be decided by whoever covers the most distance. To be considered a finisher athletes must reach at least 100km.

* 12 Hour – This race will start at midnight and finish at the same time as the other races which is midday Sunday 22rd. Winners to be decided by whoever covers the most distance. To be considered a finisher athletes must reach at least 60km.

* 6 Hour – This race will start at 6 am on Sunday 22nd.   Winners to be decided by whoever covers the most distance. To be considered a finisher athletes must reach at least 42.2km (marathon distance).

* 3 Hour – 7K Concept!!!! What is that you ask ?? This race will start at 9 am on Sunday 23rd.   You must complete 7k within each hour. Your time will be recorded. Winner will be determined by whoever has the lowest accumulated time from the three 7k runs.

*3 Hour Continuous –  This race will start at 9 am Sunday also but will continue running the loops until the siren at 12 midday. Winner to be the athlete with furthest distance.  (No minimum distance required)

Starting at 11 am on the Sunday. 22nd sept... Price is 25 euro including medal and Tshirt...
