We are delighted the annual Inbhear Dee 'Streets of Wicklow' sponsored by Burke Oil is taking place in Wicklow Town on St. Stephens Day in “Real Life”

This chip timed race is a great family event with a cash prize and perpetual cup for the fastest family across the line-2 Adults and 2 Kids to score. It is also a fast 5km, with cash prize for the first 5 men and women, and a €100 bonus offered for any man or women who break the course records.

This year is extra special as all the proceeds for the race is going towards our Field of Dreams project. Wicklow County Council have agreed to team with Inbhear Dee to develop a trail on the Murrough. This can be used by everyone and will be a fantastic amenity for the whole community. The trail is being designed to cause minimal disruption to the wildlife.

Due to Covid there will be no registration on the day. Postal entries only. While there is no Kiddies mile this year we have a special family price of €65, we encourage all families to get out with their kiddies and run/jog/walk/push your buggy all for a great cause.

Entry until midnight thursday 16th will include postage, those that enter afterwards can collect their number on race day at EGS from 10:00 am

Fast forward to 4-40 on the video when the site comes into view and at 5-54 moves on north of the site. What a wonderful location, well used by dog walkers and Inbhear Dee athletes.
