Fitzer 5 K Family Fun Run/Walk for the Maria Goretti Children's Respite and RehabCare Resource Centre for Adults with Learning Disability

The Fitzer 5k Family Fun Run/Walk is an annual event which will be held on the 27th Feb 2015 at 11am starting/finishing at The Marshes Shopping Centre. This is a very flat route so ideal for all runners.  The event is timed and results are published immediately.  Those who pre register can pick up their number on Friday the 26th of Feb from 6-8pm or on the day from 9 - 11am.  Refreshments will be serviced after the run/walk and participants can benefit from free parking in Car Park 3. There is a charge of €15 to participate. Local charities such as the Maria Goretti Children's Respite for children with a disability and the RehabCare Resource Centre for adults with a disability will benefit from the proceeds of the event.  The proceeds of last years event when towards purchasing music equipment, assistive techology, Ipads and a Smart TV.
