RACE REPORT

 The  Evening Echo Women's Mini Marathon took place today in Cork. Just under 7,500 signed up for this fantastic event. Many Women raised funds for many different Charities. This was one of Ireland's biggest running events in 2017. Women arrived  from late morning to take on the annual 4 mile distance. The atmosphere was electric with so many women delighted to be part of such a large event. The weather was also very kind creating excellent running conditions. Runners, joggers and walkers all enjoyed an incredible day in Cork. Well done to Cork AAI and the Evening Echo for organising a great event. 

We will have race video attached to each runners individual result within 48 hours after the event.

The  winner was Laura Crowe of An Riocht AC with Michelle Finn following not far off. . Video of Laura's victory can be seen below.
