Coast to Coast Virtual Challenge 2022
Saturday, 01 January 2022 00:00
Creevy Pier to Howth
Road Race, Fun Run, Walk
After the incredible success of the maiden Coast to Coast virtual event its back in ’22 – this time with Howth Co. Dublin as our new destination.
You will virtually run, jog or walk across the Island of Ireland starting at Creevy pier in Co. Donegal and heading for Howth in Co. Dublin. You will have two options to complete your 220km virtual challenge, in 40 days (or less) which is the most popular, or in 20 days. The clock starts ticking from the first day you submit your daily distance. The first ‘adventurers’ will kick off on the 1st January with the event open to new starters up until the 10th January.
What a great challenge to get the healthy buzz going for 2022. Last years event was extremely good fun with all participants working off the excess turkey and wine, and allowing some people to meet for a social chat when out and about. It also took out the competitive streak with friends and family competing (sometimes secretly) with each other by keeping a keen eye on the leaderboard.
So remember to sign up and submit your distances daily and track your progress as you go and feel free to post pictures as you go to Instagram, Twitter & Facebook and let us know how you are getting on. You will receive a certificate when you finish.
