RACE REPORT

The 10th Cloyne 5k was another rapid quick fire 5k. This race always provides fast times and strong competition among Cork Clubs. The East Cork Village was bubbling with excitement as hundreds lined the streets to support the runners as they ran the first 1k or so through the streets and finished back again. This is very much a strong local community effort.
It not only attracts some top athletes but also leisure runners and walkers. The evening started off with a walk followed by the main event with 320 runners. The race was won by Kevin O'Leary of East Cork who ran extremely well and took a comfortable win. The ladies winner was Ann Geary of Dundrum A.C. (Tipperary) Check out all results and age categories below.
