Clogherhead Seaside 10k

RACE REPORT

The Clogherhread Seaside 10k brought sunshine, lots of runners, families, and a real summer festival feel to the event. The Local Development Group organised a fantastic event for the Community of Clogherhead. The very scenic Coastal Co. Louth Village provided something for the whole family. Over 400 Runners attended along with their families.

All types of runners, Walkers and joggers attended with their families. A Family and kiddies race also took place straight after the main 10k race, which created huge fun and entertainment for onlookers.

The Event was part on an overall Village festival that ran over the weekend. A sizzling smell of BBQ food greeted runners as they crossed the Finish line. This felt like a real family Summer event. The orgainsers provided some great music and Finish line Entertainment.

The race itself attracted many local Athletics and running Clubs, such as Drogheda & District AC, North East Runners, Boyne AC, Team Carrie, Annagassin Zero to 10k and many more were on attendance. The Hot weather made the race race that bit tougher for participants.
