RACE REPORT

Dunboyne A.C hosted another fabulous 6k trail run on the stunning grounds of Carton House. Runners were given a treat to be able to ramble through the prestigious Carton House surrounds. The race started along side the Boat house on the main entrance into Carton house and finished in the same area. Record entries again this year with just under 600 participants representing various clubs from all over Leinster, and that's not counting the youngsters of which there was close to 60.
This has proven to be a very popular and successful event with numbers growing every year. This year saw the inclusion of a family entry encouraging some youngster to take part in this beautiful scenic off road event.

Runners, walkers, joggers all took part. There was a very relaxed and welcoming feel to the summer evenings event. Each participant received a Finishers medal and availed of well earned refreshments. 

Very well done to everyone who took part and well done to Dunboyne for hosting yet another very successful event.

The Female winner was 

Hannah Carroll from Donadea Running Club being welcomed home by young Dunboyne athletes.
