AON Mullingar Half Marathon
Thursday, 01 January 1970 09:30
The decision has been taken in the interests of the health and wellbeing of runners, supporters and volunteers. This follows the announcement from Government that all St. Patricks Day parades and festivities will be cancelled.
Don't miss out on the extremely popular and growing event. This race attracts over 1,500 to the Midland town of Mullingar. This has become one of the countries most eagerly awaited half marathon events on the race calendar.
The race will start from the centre of Mullingar town and head into the scenic wilderness of the Westmeath country side, taking in its bog-land and the beautiful Royal Canal. As you can imagine with a bog-land and canal run, it will be flat. The finish line will be right in the centre of Mullingar Town Park where the atmosphere will be electrifying.
