Malahide Fun Run / Walk in Aid of Homeless

RACE REPORT

The Annual Malahide 5K/ 10K for charity was held this moring in the beautiful grounds of Malahide Castle. The Event which is growing each year had over 150 people registered. The event which caters for all abilties - runners, walkers, buggies and dogs is well supported by the local community. Local club Balbrriggan also came out in force to support their club mate and organiser.

The 10K race was won by Peter Somba of Dunboyne AC in a time of 34 mins 42 sec. The female winner was Sigita Zonberga in 43:16.

The 5k race was won by Sean Flynn in 17:22 with Tara Campbell and her dog first female home in 22:34

Thank you to all participated today and helped raise funds for a great cause.
