Glanmire 4 Mile

RACE REPORT

A massive turnout for the Glanmire 4 mile with over 460 runners taking part. This was a huge success for the Glanmire GAA club. As ever the race had quality written all over it from the level of organisation and the class of runners taking part. The event was supported extremely well by the community and beyond. The weather produced some showers but this did not deter runners from taking part. This years event was part of a fundraiser for the very worthy local charity SAFE (Suicide Awareness Group) in Glanmire. A Big thanks must also go to Source Fitness for their assistance with the race along with Glanmire GAA

Runners were treated afterwards with teas, coffees, sandwiches and light refreshments.

The winner of tonight's race was  Alan O'Shea of Bantry AC.      The female winner was Una Murphy
