Race Report

 

 

Sonia O'Sullivan 10 mile hosted by Ballymore Cobh A.C. was another roaring success. Everything about day was perfect, from ideal running weather conditions, highly organised, superb start and finish line entertainment, and a great field of participants. Sonia was on hand to greet and give all participants a friendly and very welcoming visit to her home town of Cobh.  

Ger Forde of Kikenny City Harriers took the title in 50:37 on tough challenging course., Mick Clohissey was 2nd to cross the line with Alan O'Shea taking 3rd position.

 

Aoife Kilgannon won the ladies title while smashing the course record in a time of 56:18, Jean Lucy took 2nd poistion with Joyce Wolfe completing the podion trio.
