EVENT REPORT

.After a year of no XC we were treated to some fantastic running at the Athletics Leinster Even ages and Novice XC. The weather may not have been great but that did not stop excitement and delight for young athletes to be back running at real events. Well done to St. Senans AC for hosting a top class venue in Mountain View Golf Course in Kilkenny.

We had more runners registered than ever before. Clubs came from every part of the province.

Well done to all clubs and counties for getting their athletes prepared. We seen some fine performances from Meath, Dublin, Louth, Kildare, and Wicklow in underage taking medal in many age groups.

The Novice was a day to be enjoyed by Raheny Shamrock A.C. taking top spots in both male and female teams. Dublin, Kilkenny and Wicklow took the Novice female county team medals. In the Men's Novice county the top 3 were Dublin, Meath and Louth.

The next Athletics Leinster XC will take place on November 7th in Avondale Wicklow
