RACE REPORT

The Leinster Senior and Uneven age cross country took place in Adamstown, Co. Wexford today. A large contingent of underage and Senior Athletes made their way to the south east. The Course was a good old fashion testing course that made athletes work hard for their placings. Many battles for places took place through all the events from under age through the the Senior races. There is no doubt that athletes will benefit from the last few weeks of cross country running. Heavy rain from Saturday contributed to tough conditions. The under foot terrain was very sticky indeed. However, Ths sun came out in full November glory. This tough racing will certainly have brought clubs and their participants closer together through their efforts. Well done to all the clubs, parents and coaches who made huge efforts for making this years underage cross country a great success.
