RACE REPORT

The 37th Evening Echo Cork Women's Mini Marathon was another huge success. The streets of Cork turned Pink with real a party atmosphere experienced for all runners and spectators. Over 7,000 Ladies signed up for the annual event. Many of the ladies had fund raised for many local charities over the last number of months. The event is very much a fun day out for families to participate and soak up an amazing experience. From early morning thousands gathered to Victoria Rd, where they were greeted to a sound of music and a warm friendly welcome form Organisers Cork Athletics.

Even though the vast majority of ladies participate for fun and a great day out, there was some of Ireland's finest female athletes on show. Michelle Finn had a fine win in a time of 20mins 48 secs.
